Two typical Zuni florets of turquoise are on either side of a bareback horse rider, which is overlayed onto the textured sterling surface. The stamp work around the outer edges nicely enhances the overall appearance of the buckle. Size: L: 3 1/2" x W: 2 3/4". Fits a 1 1/2" belt.

Price: $650.00

Large Concho Belt
Circa 1930

Large, wonderful Navajo concho belt circa 1930 - 1940. The belt consists of 6 oval conchos, 7 butterfly spacers, and large rectangular buckle. Each concho is 4" x 3.5". Each butterfly is 3 1/8" x 1 1/2". All pieces have one oval blue turquoise stone with dark brown matrix. The buckle is 4 1/4" x 4 3/4", and has the same oval stone in the center, and four additional stones on each outside edge. The buckle stamping matches the conchos and butterflies, and is almost certainly original to the piece. It's very heavy.
